2012-09-25 01:38:40

Check out our top five zombie movies and TV shows of the decade, chosen for their ability to deliver brains, blood, and yes ... a decent plot.

'The Voice' battle: THE LiNE and Moses Stone take on 'Satisfaction'

2012-03-27 07:00:53

On Monday's episode of "The Voice," Christina Aguilera turned country duo THE LiNE against M.C. Moses Stone with the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." It seems an odd choice of song -- and pairing -- given that it's way out of both their comfort zones, but the artists persevere.

Moses decides to actually sing, which seems out of place given that he's a rapper. Lionel Richie tells him he's got "the voice," though, so he may be in better standing than we thought. Jewel mentors THE LiNE, and tells them to be less wedding band like and to focus on their breakup to add some angst to their performance.

Ultimately, the performance is incredibly mismatched and uneven. The arrangement of the song lends itself to Moses far more, particularly given that he has the opportunity to do a little rapping. Cee-Lo says he has "charisma and swagger," and chooses Moses, but Adam and Blake prefer THE LiNE.

'The Walking Dead': Writer Robert Kirkman talks about tonight's show, 'Triggerfinger'

2012-02-20 05:07:31

Tonight's episode of the Walking Dead had something for everyone — well, everyone who likes shootouts, facial woundings, and grotesquely impaled limbs. Yes, season two of AMC's hugely successful zombie show finally put the mayhem pedal to the metal as Rick, Hershel, and Glenn blasted their way out of the bar and Lori put the skewered zombie head into driver's ed. Below, Walking Dead comics scribe and TV show executive producer Robert Kirkman talks about the episode, the show's record ratings, and the disgusting politeness of Andrew Lincoln.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: No one could say that this episode was not action-packed.

ROBERT KIRKMAN: That's true. I mean, look, there's all that tension in the bar with those people outside and we barely even see them. It was a really cool move on [the part of showrunner] Glen Mazzera working with David Leslie Johnson on this script. They're this strange outside threat and I think it makes them more scary because everything is played inside and it's all done off the looks of Scott Wilson and Steven Yeun and Andrew Lincoln. I think the performances in that scene are tremendous.

Faced with the possibility of losing his law license forever, Will took responsibility for that $45,000 loan and agreed to a six-month suspension. So what's next? How will his time away from the law change Will? How will Lockhart Gardner Lockhart and Associates, and Alicia (Julianna Margulies), change without him? spoke with show bosses Robert and Michelle King to get our burning questions answered.

How long has this been in the works?

Robert King: We started this year thinking the theme would be about risk. It really turned fairly quickly into being about consequences. Our people have a lot of close scrapes and get off. This one felt like it should come down like a lot of bricks on Will's head. And we didn't want to just disbar him completely.
